In the presence of His Eminence Archbishop Demetrios, Primate of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America and Rabbi Martin R. Cohen, Professor of Jewish History at the Hebrew Union College and Spiritual Leader of the American Friends of the Jewish Museum of Greece, the Consulate General of Greece in New York hosted the “Holocaust Remembrance Day of the Greek Jewry”, on Monday January 28, 2013 at 6:30 pm, at the Greek Press and Communication Office. The event featured a presentation by historian Alexander Kitroeff, Associate Professor of History at Haverford College on The Holocaust and the Jews in Athens.
